Sunday

I just thought Celeste looked cute on Sunday! (But then again, when don't I think she's cute?)

I am THOROUGHLY enjoying my new camera!!! I just uploaded 122 pictures off the camera from 4 days!

Saturday

On Saturday, we went for a drive up Sinks Canyon and tried to find a place we could take family pictures. I pulled out the camera and messed around a little. So here are some Daddy/Daughter pictures.

5 Years

Today is Ryan and my 5th anniversary! I can't believe it's been 5 wonderful years. I'm so grateful for Ryan and his love. He does so much for me and our family. I love you, honey!

Flashback Fun

A while ago, someone gave me the idea of doing a "Flashback Friday." I loved the idea and thought it'd be great if I posted everyday. However, since I don't post that often, I thought I'd do a flashback fun every once in a while. So here is my first flashback!

This is my older sister, Kara, me, and my older brother, Jared

Man Jared, that outfit is hot, especially the shorts!

Utah Trip

A couple weekends ago (Oct 24-26) Ryan, Celeste, and I made a trip to Utah to see my brother, his wife, and their son. They recently moved to Michigan so we don't get to see them very often. We had to take advantage of them being within 350 miles! We had a fun trip and it was especially great to see them! Thanks for coming to Utah Jared, Julie, and Tayson so we could see you. Here are some pictures from the trip.

This is Jared and Julie's son, Tayson, giving Celeste a hug when we first got there.

Aren't the two just so cute together? Notice they are holding hands.
This is my parents with their two grandchildren. (Soon there will be three) This is the only picture I got of my brother, Jared. Him and Tayson are playing in the leaves.
My brothers wife, Julie, is the sweetest, most kind person I know. We love having her in our family!

Here she is reading to Tayson and Celeste. Celeste is loving it!

While we were there, we also got to see and spend time with my little sister, April, who is at college at BYU. It was great seeing you, April!
Thanks again Jared and Julie! And thanks to Julie's parents for housing and feeding us! It was a great trip and we can't wait to see you again! (Sorry it took me so long to blog these pictures.)

Rice Cereal

I finally fed Celeste rice cereal tonight for the first time. This may seem late for a lot of people, but I chose to wait until now. She was getting plenty from my milk and still sleeping great through the night, so I decided to wait. Here are a few pictures from the experience. (Sorry, I couldn't decide which one's to post, so I just posted a bunch!)
Getting Ready to Eat

I had no idea what to expect feeding cereal to a baby for their first time, but it definatley wasn't what I thought it would be like. She did pretty well and seemed to just suck it off the spoon. She didn't eat as much as I thought she would but she started to get fussy and I didn't want it to be a bad experience for her, so we quit. I still can't believe she's already 6 months old! She sure is cute and tons of fun, though.

Halloween #2

On Saturday, some of our friends had a Halloween party that we were supposed to come in costume to. I didn't think Celeste would want to get into her giraffe costume again and besides, I really wanted us all to "match." I had been saying that this year for Halloween I was going to dress Celeste up as a farmer and I would be a cow. (I'm still nursing her.) But then what was Ryan going to be? A bull? We didn't end up doing that, and the only costumes Ryan and I have are hippie costumes so I decided a couple hours before the party I'd just tie-die one of Celestes onesies. It didn't turn out too great because I used kool-aid and it faded when I washed it. But it worked and then an hour before it started, I had the bright idea to sew Celeste some bell bottom pants to match Ryan and my outfit. So I did it and we were only 15 minutes late to the party! Here is the final product of our hippie family!
