Some of you know my frustrations of getting professional pictures taken of Celeste. The closest JCPenny portrait studio is more than 4 hours away from me. All we have here is the expensive private businesses and Wal-Mart, who just had changes made to their studio and I hear they are just as expensive as the private businesses now. And besides, I wasn't pleased with how they turned out last time. So, I've decided to try taking my own pictures of Celeste. Problem #1 was I don't have a good enough camera. Problem #2, I don't know how to get the lighting, etc. perfect. To solve these, I borrowed my friends nice camera, thanks Jeni! And I just started taking pictures hoping some would turn out. I'm quite pleased with what I've come up with this week. I know, some of them have a shadow, but I'll keep trying and hopefully get better. (And hopefully someday soon I can talk Ryan into a new camera but he says he gets a new TV first...)
NICE JOB! i can't imagine your frustrations. I think that would be really hard to be so far from a JcPenney studio...but you did a great job. I like them all a lot, but I have to say that #4 is my fave. :)
Great job! I am all about taking your own... why spend so much for something that can be so impersonal. I love taking my own shots. I personally love #6 it seems to catch a cute little aspect of her personality!
