Preschool Program

Celeste got to attend preschool this year! She was still a year young, but because her Grandma is the teacher and the numbers were low enough, she got to sneak in a year early. My mother has been teaching preschool for 30 years and has an excellent program. Celeste loved going and asked almost daily, "Is it preschool day?" It was a great experience for her. At the end of the year, they put on a program. Here are pictures from her preschool program.

Waiting for it to start

Waiting to say her name in the microphone

They all say their name and either something they like to do or what they want to be when they grow up. Celeste said, "My name is Celeste Emma Mikesell and I like to eat M's. Yum Yum!" (M's meaning M&M's)

Singing their patriotic songs

Doing Lummy Sticks

In part of the song, it says, "we shake our hips and shake our sticks to the music...music...music!" Celeste was so cute shaking her hips!

I was helping backstage and get a call from Ryan who was in the audience. He tells me, "Go help Celeste with her pants!" Apparently her zipper was down and was fixing it like this for 3 minutes. Ryan was embarrassed for her!

She did a great job and we were so proud of her! And thank you Grandma Harrison for a great first year of preschool!

So cute! And I am coming to see you :) Thanks for the comment on my blog. Would you like a babysitter on a weekend or two? My husband is going to be in North Dakota for the next six weeks so I have a feeling I'll have some free time!

So fun! I love her concentration with the lummy sticks and I love that you caught the "fixing the pants" moment on camera.
