Easter Pictures

I told you I'm behind on my blogging! (Scroll down for the other post) These pictures weren't actually taken on Easter because for some reason the pictures I took on Easter didn't stay on my camera card. They're gone. Needless to say, I was very disappointed! Next time Celeste wears her Easter dress, I'll get more pictures and post those.

Celeste got bubbles in her Easter basket. They didn't go over too well the first few times. They scared her! She is starting to enjoy them more now.

Celeste also found her Easter basket that was on our coffee table and managed to get ahold of it. I sat and watched her! She was in heaven! (See, I'm not that mean of a mom)

Look at that grin :)

By the way, for those who don't know, Celeste LOVES to eat. And she will eat ANYTHING. She is such a great eater and we are very grateful for that.

Outside

I'm behind in my blogging. These pictures were taken over a month ago but I just had to post them. Celeste LOVES it outside. She had just woken up and it was still pretty chilly outside. She has such a sad face, poor girl!

These pictures make me look like a mean mom :(

New Toys

We got a couple new toys in the past few days. First, my stove is FINALLY here and looks great! I haven't cooked anything on it yet, but I love it so far! I might have to read the instruction manual on this one. It's pretty fancy. I love the fact I can cook a bunch of different things at the same time with the double oven. The bottom oven is also a convection oven.
I don't know if you can read all these buttons or not, but there are a lot! You can push the "pizza" button, or "breads" or "cakes." This could be fun! :)
Our other new toy is a bike trailer for Celeste! We got it Saturday and set it up that night. Ryan took Celeste out just up and down the street for a couple minutes. I think she likes it!

I'm so excited for all our family bike rides. We were supposed to take one tonight, but it got a little too windy. Hopefully tomorrow!

Michigan Trip

Over spring break last week, Celeste and I tagged along with my mom and my little brother, Quinton, to Michigan. We went to visit my brother, Jared, and his family. Jared is full of life and can put a smile on anyone's face. (Really, he's a goof sometimes!) Jared's wife, Julie, is so sweet and kind. She is the best cook and fed us great! Their little boy, Tayson, has the most fun personality you've ever seen in a 2 year old. He's also the smartest and cutest 2 year old ever! We had a great time and wish they lived closer! Thanks for hosting us all! We love you tons!

Here are some pictures and documents of what we did. (Warning: Lots of pictures ahead!)

The only time Celeste would let Jared hold her was if she was sleeping!
However, she started to warm up towards the end and they'd play "steal the binky!"

And if you have the Harrison boys together, this is a common activity:
We arrived the evening of Saturday, April 4th. Celeste once again did great on the plane and slept half of the way. She is a super traveler. Sunday we watched General Conference. Monday Jared went to work and the rest of us shopped. Thanks Julie for taking us! I hope you weren't too bored.

On Tuesday Jared and Quinton went to the Ford F150 factory and we went to a children's science museum. It was my first time being to a Children's Museum so it was fun.

On Wednesday, we all went to the Toledo Zoo in Ohio. I think I was more excited than anyone about this stop! Celeste LOVES animals so I was excited for her and let's be honest, I'm a little girl at heart and can't remember much about the one time I've been to the zoo! We had a great time, but I think it would have been better during the summer when they could have had more of the African Animals. Maybe we'll have to make a trip to the Hogle Zoo this summer...

At the zoo, Celeste had her first Carousel ride. This is how it went... :) Polar Bear! Tiger!

This was one huge ape!

Aren't we cute butterflies?

We were just finishing the last exhibit and Celeste fell asleep. Great timing!

On the way home from the zoo, we stopped to see Lake Erie.

Then on Thursday, we flew back to SLC, got in our car and drove home. It was a GREAT vacation!

Provo City Race

We flew out of SLC to Michigan and it just happened to be the same day as the Provo City 5K and 1/2 marathon. My little siblings are into running these races so we made a special trip to Provo before going to SLC. Quinton ran in the 5K (he is running a 1/2 marathon next weekend so he couldn't do two 1/2 marathons in one month) and April and her roommate, Stephanie ran in the 1/2 marathon. Quinton came in 4th in his age group. I'm not sure April's place but her goal was to finish and she did that for sure. I was so proud of them all. They inspire me to start running. I'll keep you posted on how that goes for me!
Quintons pose after he crossed the finish line. Just for our brother-in-law, Drew!

This is one of my favorite pictures! April crossing the finish line.

Floor is Finished!

Sorry for not updating recently. Celeste and I have been in Michigan for the last week and returned home last night. Pictures from the trip will be up soon!
Good news! Our floor is finally finished! Ryan's mom and friend came over and helped us grout the laundry room and kitchen area on Monday, March 30th. Thanks for your help!! And then our new stove and microwave were supposed to be here on that Thursday. I was so excited to have a stove back!
While Celeste and I were out of town, my wonderful husband finished the dining room and it's all done now! Yippee! :) Here is the finished dining room.
The finished kitchen area and our new dishwasher. (It's great having a dishwasher again!)
And then the stove and microwave...they both did come in that Thursday. However, the stove was dented in about 3-4 different places. I was so disappointed. We called up Sears, took it back, and ordered a new one. They said the new one will be here April 20th. I was not very happy. April 20th? That was 3 weeks away from when we ordered it. Ridiculous. So here is the new microwave with the old stove. (Ryan had already moved the old stove to the garage so we had to haul it back in. Good thing we hadn't sold it yet!)
I will be sure to post pictures of the new stove when it comes. It's pretty sweet!

I am very pleased with how the floor has turned out. Ryan and ALL our helpers have done a great job. Thanks again to everyone who helped. We love it!
