Update

I appologize I've been aweful at updating my blog! I will try to be better. :)
Celeste turns 10 months today! I can't believe it! I tried to take her 9 month pictures a couple weeks ago. Since she's become mobile, it's MUCH harder to get a good picture. Here are a few, even though they aren't great pictures of her.

Yesterday Celeste had the flu. She is acting like she feels much better today, so I tried to take a few more pictures this morning. (Same outfit, I know!)

Maybe the day after the flu bug wasn't the best idea! We'll try again another day!

Our other news is we're repainting and putting in a new floor in our kitchen/dining room. That's today's project so stay tuned for some before, during, and after pictures!

New Niece

My sister and brother-in-law, Kara and Drew Bott, welcomed their little girl into the world on Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Elsie Bott was born at 7:37 pm weighing 6 lbs 12 ounces and 18 1/2 inches long. She's a cutie!

Congratulations Drew and Kara! We're excited for you.

9 Months Later...

Celeste has stuff on her walls!!
Yes, it's embarrassing that it took me 9 months and there's still one more thing I still need to do I just have to find someone with a router or buy one myself.
I copied these letter blocks out of a catalog. My sweet husband made them for me and I painted them. I think they turned out pretty cute.If you remember, we painted these teal stripes on about the bottom third of the wall and are accenting in pink. (If we have a boy next, we'll accent in a "boy color.") You can kind of see the bedding my mom made us. It has a bed skirt, quilt, and valances to match. Thanks Mom! We have had it since before Celeste was born.
In this corner, there is a decoration my friend, Jena, gave to me (thanks Jena!) and a picture of Christ.

I made this clock at Jena's house a while ago to match Celeste's room.

(This picture makes it look like the walls are blue and the valance is green, but they really do match!)

The walls are still a little plain, but not near as bad anymore! The only thing left is a board with vinyl words that say, "I Am a Child of God."

Daddy's Girl

Just a couple random pictures of Celeste with Ryan. She loves her daddy!

What are you doing Daddy?

Reading Books Saturday Morning

An Update: Celeste is crawling! This past Thursday she started. It's amazing how much she improves at it daily. I have a video I've been trying to post but it won't let me for some reason. I'll get it up soon, though!

1st Hair Cut

Celeste got her first hair cut today! She had a serious rats tail and many people have been making fun of it so I decided to cut it off.

Of course, I did save some of it! She did great and just sat there and played.

Lake Havasu City, AZ

Warning: Long post ahead!

Yesterday Ryan and I returned from a week long vacation to Lake Havasu City, Arizona. We went with Ryan's dad and his wife, and all of Ryan's siblings and their families. I have posted a ton of pictures. I took over 300 so I had a hard time deciding which to post, sorry! Here are pictures to document what we did during the week (in no particular order.)

Visited the London Bridge. This is the waterfall outside visitors center.

The London Bridge
Chased birds by the bridge.

Rented a Pontoon Boat and took a ride around the lake.

We stopped at a beach at the north end of the lake.

Golfed in the back yard of the house we rented on the putting green.

Played a game of golf at a local course. (I'm really no good at golf)

Played Wii

Played pool in the back yard. Isn't that sunset beautiful?

The crazy ones jumped into the freezing cold swimming pool. (I only stuck my feet in!) They were having a really cold winter (60 degrees!) and so the pool was too cold to swim in.

After freezing in the pool, we warmed up in the hot tub!

We ate non stop, and a ton of it!

Relaxed and enjoyed the vacation
And drank Pepsi. (I have never seen a family drink so much Pepsi as Ryan's family does!)
