I should have posted this on Friday, but apologize I'm just now getting to it. Let me back up and tell you about my day Friday. I woke up in the middle of the night with a pain in my right side. It hurt to turn over or do anything. I got up in the morning, ate, and hoped it'd go away. I waited. And waited. It never got better and was starting to go lower. I thought I had gall stones or appendicitis or something. If it wouldn't have been Friday, I would have waited it out to see if it'd go away, however, I didn't want to end up in the ER Saturday, so I called my doctor. The nurse said it could be appendicitis or I pulled a muscle. (I didn't really think it felt like a pulled muscle, but whatever!) She said take a Tylenol and see if it goes away with that and call her back in a couple hours to let her know how I was. The Tylenol did nothing. In fact, there for a 1/2 hour or so it was pretty sharp. The nurse had me come right up and I saw the doctor. They ruled out appendicitis (thank goodness) but wanted to do an ultrasound to make sure the placenta and such was okay. They found a cyst on my ovary, which was most likely rupturing, causing the pain. It's nothing to worry about and in fact, the pain has gone away since then. But the good news and the part you care about of the story is they looked to see the gender of the baby. Yes, I've known since Friday, sorry!!! But it was definitely confirmed today at our regular 20 week sonogram. We are having a sweet little baby BOY!
(sorry for the boring post with no pictures.)
