New Room!

We've moved Celeste into her new room! (Halfway...we still haven't moved her clothes and toys.) Here is the boring white wall I painted. I still need to put up the decorations, too.
She loves to have her picture taken and insists I take her picture anytime she sees my camera or my cell phone!

The finished purple wall. We bought the dresser on clearance from JCPenny's and are very pleased. The bed is Ryan's from when he was little. It is homemade from his dad and there's actually another twin bed that goes with it that can be bunked. Eventually we will need both! Three or four years ago when we first got them, I decided I wanted to sand all the white paint off and stain them. Then after I got Celeste's new bedding, I decided I wanted them back to white. My wonderful husband was supportive and redid the bed once again to make it white! Thanks Ryan!
She really loves her new bed!
And her new blankets/pillow!
Tonight is her first night sleeping in her new room and bed. She climbed right in without even giving us our hugs and kisses! She is now sound asleep and didn't even get out once. Hopefully bedtimes continue to be like that. And hopefully I don't wake up to a little face staring at me!

Eating...

...Or should I say sucking?
Celeste's new thing is to suck on her food instead of chew it. And many times she just keeps putting more and more in until it's too big to swallow so she spits it back out. It's quite funny to watch! She has always been an extremely good eater, and she still is, but just likes to enjoy the flavor!

So I took this picture of Celeste a couple nights ago...she's just sucking away on her hot dog and fruit! And who teaches this girl table manners, anyway?

(sorry I didn't get this posted when I said I would)

Swimming

(Sorry I have been terrible at blogging. Two tonight will help make up for it, right? And I'll post one tomorrow night...hopefully!)
We finally got to go swimming! It's been so long! Celeste only took a few minutes to warm up to the pool again and then she was loving it. Even jumping in when Daddy wasn't right there....that scared Mommy on the side! (I am too fat to fit into my swim suit so I got to take pictures from the side!)
She's so cute!
She even went off the diving board.
And jumped to Daddy
My two fish
She loves being thrown into the air!
It was a fun night at the pool!

If You Insist...

Because people have requested....here I am at 27 weeks. Man, I'm big!

I can't believe my due date is 3 months away! Wow!

Adorable!

I took Celeste's pictures Sunday. I may be a bit biased, but I think she's one of the cutest girls ever!
This is what I got when I said "smile!"
And some pictures show a little attitude...

"I'm not looking!"

Some show personality...
Some are goofy...
And some show her sweet, adorable, self! Which is your favorite? (Numbers are on top of the picture)

First Curls

Last Sunday I curled Celeste's hair for the first time. She looked so stinkin' cute!

I'm hoping to take some new "professional" pictures of Celeste soon. Be watching for them!

Back Up!

I should have posted this on Friday, but apologize I'm just now getting to it. Let me back up and tell you about my day Friday. I woke up in the middle of the night with a pain in my right side. It hurt to turn over or do anything. I got up in the morning, ate, and hoped it'd go away. I waited. And waited. It never got better and was starting to go lower. I thought I had gall stones or appendicitis or something. If it wouldn't have been Friday, I would have waited it out to see if it'd go away, however, I didn't want to end up in the ER Saturday, so I called my doctor. The nurse said it could be appendicitis or I pulled a muscle. (I didn't really think it felt like a pulled muscle, but whatever!) She said take a Tylenol and see if it goes away with that and call her back in a couple hours to let her know how I was. The Tylenol did nothing. In fact, there for a 1/2 hour or so it was pretty sharp. The nurse had me come right up and I saw the doctor. They ruled out appendicitis (thank goodness) but wanted to do an ultrasound to make sure the placenta and such was okay. They found a cyst on my ovary, which was most likely rupturing, causing the pain. It's nothing to worry about and in fact, the pain has gone away since then. But the good news and the part you care about of the story is they looked to see the gender of the baby. Yes, I've known since Friday, sorry!!! But it was definitely confirmed today at our regular 20 week sonogram. We are having a sweet little baby BOY!
(sorry for the boring post with no pictures.)
