5 Months

Time goes too fast and I missed Caleb's 4 month picture. But here's a picture I captured last night in our quick photo shoot.

Cereal

On November 8th, Caleb got his first taste of Rice Cereal. I wasn't quite ready to feed it to him but he was ready for more! And I was ready to sleep through the night and was hoping this would help. It has helped a little. As the week's gone by, he doesn't seem to like the cereal as much. I think he wants the flavorful yummy stuff!

Family Pictures

For the first time in our married life, we got professional family pictures taken! Do you have a favorite?

Michelle was so patient with me as I kept postponing and asked a billion questions. And then she was super patient with my two children who were tired and didn't want to look at the camera. Isn't that how family pictures go with kiddos? But Michelle did a great job and I love them. Thanks a billion, Michelle!

Cousins

And lots of cousins! Ryan's siblings came into town last weekend. It's always a full house when we get together. One of his sisters has triplets that were born about 2 weeks before Caleb was. Just imagine the house when they're all one year old. Or two!

It was quite comical watching Grandma Mikesell get her picture taken with all the grandkids.

And the hour of sitting still while you're mom tugged and pulled on your hair to get them in.

And the sleepless nights because they are not comfy to sleep in!

And I'm sure one day I swore I would never put them in my daughters hair!

Well, I did it.

And I think it'll be the last time I do it, too!

Or at least with the smallest curlers. Next time I'll use larger ones!

...unless she's dressing up as Annie.

Ouch

On Saturday, Sept 11th, Celeste took a nose dive off our front porch onto the cement. I think it scared her more than anything, but she was left with some battle wounds.
